Oh and another thing about last night, perhaps the most interesting thing to me, was that I felt completely conflicted about the viper - I am arachnophobic but I have no issues with snakes ... I really didn't know whether I was freaked out or not because my head said 'aww snake' and my senses were recoiling in horror

It is hard to present the natural world as a cute/fluffy place. I know what you mean but also prefer these programmes to be factual even if that is miserable at times.

It's another great series from the master. Ok some episodes have seemed about quick in their coverage but you can't deny that the photography/cinematography have been excellent.
