Amen to that.

He raises a good point actually. Of all of the people in society who have the time and the money to do all manner of fun things, those tossers are a great example. Proving that they're not just twats, they're also woefully lacking in imagination.

On Wednesday evening lots of Odeon Cinemas are showing a charity tribute double bill of Moore's 007 films, all profits go to UNICEF
Sir Roger Moore Charity Tribute - Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes
To celebrate the life and memory of legendary British actor Sir Roger Moore, we're bringing you an exclusive charity double bill of two of his most iconic films; ‘For Your Eyes Only' and ‘The Spy Who Loved Me'. Proceeds from the screening will be given to UNICEF.

Famed for his charm and dexterous eyebrows. Moore's gift to the world was more than his talent. Having worked tirelessly with UNICEF since 1991, his charity work changed the lives of so many and led to him being awarded the first ever UNICEF UK Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as his Knighthood for 'services to charity'.

Exactly this. And if a load of lads on a council estate chased a cat and got their dogs to rip it apart, they'd be in jail - quite rightly so.

@marchaynes on Twitter has this story about Moore:

My friend also has a Roger Moore airport story, not quite as good but it suggests he never changed.

About 15 years ago My mate was in a lift at Schipol airport and Roger Moore walked into the lift.

My mate knew that it was Roger Moore, and Roger Moore knew that my mate knew he was Roger Moore. There was a short silence.

Then, Roger Moore said to my mate: “Hello, I’m Roger, pleased to meet you” and shook my mates hand.

As he might have said, “just being disarming”.
