Ah I'm really sad about this. Loved cracker, even if one of the episodes really fucked me up mentally. Really love him as Hagrid as well.

I think he lived not far from me. I used to see him heading to the small Sainsbury on Great Western Road. I saw him coming out of the bit where I assume he lived only 10 days or so ago, while I was driving my younger daughter to work. I remember thinking he looked much older, greyer and not so well. He’d lost weight, and bigger people often look unwell when they lose weight so I put it down to that.

It’s very sad. He was a great talent in both serious and comedic roles.

Nuns on the Run is one of my all time favourite films.

Really gutted about Robbie Coltrane. He seemed to be universally loved. Not often you can say that these days.
