Recommend me a stick blender?

My current cheap one blew up today. Well went pop anyway. :( It's the only one I've owned, I'm slightly tempted to get the same one again but reckon there's something better. Despite meaning I'll have to chuck out the attachments which feels wrong but anyway...

I want one that:

1. Is powerful enough to chop frozen fruit. 800w?
2. Has a variable speed. Ideally a throttle trigger thing you just squeeze more to go faster... OK maybe not a deal breaker but was nice.
3. Has a processor unit thingy that it locks on to so no spillage.
4. Durable. Staneless steel blades.
5. Not massively expensive. I mean under 100 quid.

Is 3 a common thing? It was great for making sources without having to worry about splashing stuff everywhere.

Stick shape prefered.

Moon on a stick etc.

Very spendy, but a Bamix will do all that plus you can get a 3. Outside the £100 though.

I only ever have bought cheap ones from supermarket or Argos, never needed to chop frozen fruit, so they’ve lasted for years

Oh now, I totally don't understand the motor power. One thing I saw recommended high power but that Banix one has a 200w motor and boasts of being able to do frozen fruit easily.

Also looking at a Nutribullet thing, which sounds pretty good. Says can do ice.

I never did understand why people wanted to blend sticks in the first place.
