Just popped back to say that I signed up with Southside in Streatham and the woman dentist I was recommended to on here is exactly who I needed. Have been twice now and feel much better.
Thanks so much for all the replies.
Yes Minnie, Debbie, such a lovely woman, thanks for the recommendation! xDebbie?

hope it went ok.
I know the feeling. I'm about to have a tooth pulled that could have been fixed if I hadn't been such a chicken. Every time I pluck up the courage to go, I swear I'll be back for regular checkups, but the fear comes back over the 6 months away.Went as ok as it could thanks. Got a nasty infection. Was given antibiotics and some kickass painkillers. And some minty mouthwash. Got to go back when the infection clears to have a deep root clean, whatever that may be.
Looks like my cowardice is going to cost me my four front bottom teeth though in the not so distant future.
Blue care are excellent. They've been brilliant the last few times I've had bad toothache.I really should find one also, I still haven't gone through with getting my gob sorted.
Blue Care still good?
2 years later, can anyone recommend their NHS dentist in the Brixton Hill area?

Agent Sparrow recommended me someone who was really good but I've forgotten the practice's name; it's on Brixton Hill just near the corner with Holmewood Gardens.
That's Dental Solutions. I used to go there but left. Before Dental Solutions they went all urban and called.themselves Urban Decay
I'm confused. I'm getting alerts saying Winot's posted here but i can't see his posts
Oh I can see your post now, but not any later than this. It wasn't actually Urban Decay but Urban DK. I didn't like the name myself. Sounded like they were trying too hard and made you feel like you had rotten teeth and they were just rubbing it inReally? Fantastic name!
Do you have me on ignore?
Are you sure? It says fee exempt patients here?I checked the website, and Blue Dental Care no longer seem to take fee exempt adults as NHS patients. Somewhere in Streatham it is, then.
I checked this morning via the NHS choices page and there was a big red cross against everything but patients referred by PCTAre you sure? It says fee exempt patients here?
