I have acquired a surfeit of these breakfast cereals. Loads of them. What can I make with them? Sick of just eating them in a bowl with milk.

another use for cornflakes is in place of where you would normally have breadcrumbs and cheese- I've lightly chrushed (not powdered) a topping of cornflakes on a tuna pasta bake before and its great

Breakfast cereals are full of sugar. Never understood Frosties and Ricicles as they were sweet enough before.

My employers had a shitload of boxes that expire in August and they're doing works which means they can't store them any more anyway. There's dozens of them.

Melt butter and marshmallows together and add rice crispies, cut into squares when cold.

They won't suddenly turn poisonous in August. Cereal generally has a best before date not a use by date. Should be no noticeable difference and zero risk in eating them for a good few months after the date on the box.
