I didn't notice this, would have paid more attention if I had heard about it. Its amazing to watch time lapse and other things.
Place 2017 was was created on reddit, originally a 1000 x 1000 canvas that anyone can change a pixel to a specific colour every 5 minutes. They did it again for 1st April.
Really interesting to see how that canvas evolves then they set the colour palette to white.

It's back baby. A couple of subreddits I browse eagerly tried to figure out a strategy to secure a spot. I haven't checked their success. I had the vague idea that it's another thing originated by the Wordle guy.
