Politics around the big social media platforms

ska invita

back on the other side
Lots of aspects to talk about including
-privacy
-role in increasing far right voices / false news etc
-election meddling/ political control
-personal emotional impacts

etc

the pile of books and films on the topic is piling up
im rushing off to work so cant post much more now

my question is: can any of this be fixed or has the profit motive made these platforms fundamentally broken?
