Pillows.

without being too nosey liberty, what model of tempur mattress did you opt for, and why?

Umm I think it was the 25 or 30 cm one. with 10cm of the speacial foam stuff. The pillow is a medium one

I'm allergic to feathers, so we have Dupont anti-allergy pillows (around £45 each), which can be washed frequently with no loss of plumpness. Rather like myself. :)

:D

I'm on the lookout for pillows, my husbands pillows are dreadful. I've got one that never goes flat, allegedly.

Going to be replacing our bedlinen this week, going for the plain old duvet option instead of flat sheet/quilted throw/4 tog duvet combo.

OMG  You'll never get out of bed again!

I got some goosedown ones from the White Company last year and I have a goosedown duvet - my bed is more of a nest than a bed :D

That may not be a bad thing. I one of these strange people that doesn't snooze or lie in bed. When I wake up, I get up. I get really bored otherwise.

I bought a goose down duvet and it's the best thing ever but I bought the goose down pillows and they are too soft.
I used my friends tempur pillow when I stayed at her house and I loved it, I slept really well on it and never moved all night. I'm going to buy myself one when I move house. I reckon they are worth the money when you consider how much time you spend in bed.

I have goosedown pillows with non-down ones underneath - and big square ones behind. I find this isn't too soft ... Not much room in the bed though :D

Ditto.

I cannot just lie in bed once I'm awake. Have to get up - even if only to go slouch on the sofa....

No an oxymoron is contradictory, like Military Intelligence. It's definitely tortology.

tautology

Good job Donna hasn't seen this.

*shakes head ruefully*

Maybe she was distracted by a torte....

I also can not stay in bed once awake, which is a bit of a pain really because my husband could wallow for England. I usually get up and come online at weekends, whilst he's his in his pit.
