Had just started work in Birmingham when Telly Savalos (Kojak) came to witness the dancing competitions but too young to compete
Its where I learned my moves to come to win the top ten singles dancing for Dave Lee Travis disco spectacular at Wolverhamptons Civic was more of a Clash and 2 tone fan so not sure how it happened
I do remember being disowned by mates for a while
