post-war mapping here showing 'ruin' where that building had been - looks like the pissoir avoided a direct hit
There's no record of a bomb striking there during WW2 although it would be unusual for a busy station to end up as a ruin. I'm going to write a piece on Buzz tomorrow and see if I get any feedback.

there's a few directions to look into this

not sure if bombsight is only the conventional blitz. there is a website that maps v1 and v2 hits.

and not sure if the lcc bomb damage map is online

(apologies if you have already tried all three)

there's a few railway sources i'll look into this evening

It was Lambeth that encouraged the development of central Brixton as an entertainment centre. (Brixton Challenge) . I don't lve in central Brixton now. But feel that the fact that a lot of people live in central Brixton has been forgotten. People who live in central Brixton just have to put up with this. Or get told its there fault for living there. Whilst bars and clubs make money but don't have to deal with the consquences.

It's insane: we've got more late night licensed bars/restaurant/hipster grazing haunts than ever before, there's the all night tube at the increasingly busy station keeping the town centre busy all night, but there's barely anywhere for people to go for a pee when they arrive/go to leave Brixton after midnight.

No wonder the town centre stinks of piss in the morning.
