Petition launched to provide more public toilets in Brixton

still waiting for a reply- it's like LBL have got constipation or summat

Any more sightings of the pop up loo?

After repeatedly ignoring my correspondence regarding a CT bill, I was fined and summonsed. I raised a complaint. The complaint was upheld and found that all my correspondence was on file but had not been read. They apologised and offered me £50 compensation. That was two months ago.I have now requested the payment 5 times and today raised a new complaint about my compensation not being paid and no one responding.

Bog standard piss taking by Lambeth.

Waltham Forest is proud of its community toilets. A map of the borough's community toilets is very prominently displayed in front of the town hall.

So hopefully that'll be £100 compo then....

OK, so finally heard back from LBL after some chasing

the Pop up urinal should be operational every day between 9pm and 6 am.

However, it's not working at the moment as the pump is busted and the council could not tell me when it would be fixed. 'Hopefully not too long' was the answer

So I don't know why it's popping up - if chaps are using it, where is the wee going????

Colacubes - if you fancy testing it out....

I've just been awarded another £50 because my compensation was so badly handled. That's £100 total compensation because Capita would not cancel a bill for a single day of council tax charge, incorrectly billed to me. (Presumably Capita pays it and not Lambeth?)

It may not be working full stop at the moment tbh. I was on holiday for a couple of weeks and not noticed since I've been back whether it's been working or not. I will keep my beady eyes open...

It was open when I went out at 8.15 yesterday and when I came home around midnight.

This poster is a bit high and mighty isn't it? of course pissing in public is disgusting, of course you should use a toilet- but if there are no toilets, how can you use one?

The day after a Saffron curry the other morning, my bowels were shall we say a little fragile when on the morning train to London Bridge. sensing a messy disaster, I hope off at Peckham Rye in the expectation to easily find one of these fabled toilets people can use in such an unfortunate situation as the one I found myself in somewhere along the high street. Public ones at the station- locked and closed (naturally!), McDonalds ones- closed, a random coffee shop- customers only, etc...

why is it so hard to go tot he toilet in public?

Enjoy your breakfast :p

I wonder how many Urbanites took advantage of the Open House weekend to visit Artslav - located in a public convenience at Kennington Cross.

This Arts Council funded project seems to do stuff - though whilst I was there (chaperoned by a friend I should add) one visitor seemsed to be checking on whether the numbers on the back of the toilet door were still the same as when it closed c 1986.

I was wondering if Lambeth Council are incapable of re-opening the Windrush Square toilets, maybe we should encourage Artslav to upgrade/diversify/mount a takeover bid - whatever.

They could even do installations which require passing members of the public to call in and urinate/do number 2s as necessary.

Toilet was popped up last night (Sat) at 11.30 pm... didn't see anyone using it, but then maybe it's a bit early for that! I do wonder what the 'hit' rate is?
