Paris, Texas Ry Cooder

dessiato

🇪🇸 my spirit is crying for leaving
Just listened to this four times back to back. I am amazed I've been so slow getting a copy.

Wonderful, sad, music.

I am surprised so few people have heard of him too.

I've got Music by Ry Cooder, which should I get next?

Who else is there of this style that might be worth listening to?

The Slide Area is a good album, poppy in parts, bluesy in others.

Soundtrack to Southern Comfort Film

He guest on alot of 70s classics. Check out Sister Morphine on the Stones 'Sticky Fingers' album.

Could be worth checking out his early work with Captain Beefheart, notably on Safe as Milk.

Can't remember the name of the album, but Ry Cooder played as Little Village on a wonderful set of tracks.

It's called Little Village, with Nick Lowe and John Hiatt.
