Outdoor stuff to do in Brighton please July 21

I’m hopefully off to Brighton for an outdoor comedy thing mid July.
We’re staying in an Airbnb in Hove so that’s sorted.

I know Brighton pretty well but haven’t been for a while without mates who live there and take me so we’re not sure where to go.
We want outdoor stuff only as I don’t want to eat drink indoors at the moment.

We’re good for shopping at stuff and will go for a wander round the lanes and north laine at some point.
We want bars and casual restaurants, nothing too fancy but I don’t want to spend my whole weekend on a bench outside the Mash Tun either.
Outdoor late night stuff would be nice.

Someone said there’s stuff going on in Old Steine Gardens. Is that just the Spiegeltent or is there a pop up bar or something?
Any ideas please? Does anyone local know what’s going on at Old Steine as I couldn’t find much online.

These are fairly new on the beach and have lots of outside seats for eating/drinking
Shelter Hall | Brighton's Seafront Food Market and Bar
BEACH BAR — BISON BEER | Independent Craft Beer Bars & Brewing -Bison Beach Bar opened a couple of years ago, down near Concorde II
Rockwater - Bar & Restaurant in Hove - new place on the beach in Hove

Lots of stuff around at the moment in Old Steine and Valley Gardens due to the Brighton Festival but not sure if it will still be there in July.
What's On | Brighton Fringe - looks like it runs till 12th July

Thanks Indeliblelink yeah I looked at fringe stuff amd we’re a week too late. Rockwater looks good.
Not sure if the parties are really what my mates are up for but I’ll pass it on.

Not sure about pennies but I’ve fallen on that pier and 22 years later might need surgery on it!
