Baby, baby, touch me, touch my bling, touch my botty, touch my pimped ride, I love you girl, ooh, ooh, baby, baby...

as opposed to this, lightsoutlondon:

Faster than a bullet
Terrifying scream
Enraged and full of anger
He's half man and half machine

Rides the Metal Monster
Breathing smoke and fire
Closing in with vengeance soaring high

He is the Painkiller
This is the Painkiller

Planet's devastated
Mankind's on its knees
A saviour comes from out the skies
In answer to their pleas

Through boiling clouds of thunder
Blasting bolts of steel
Evils going under deadly wheels

He is the Painkiller
This is the Painkiller

Faster than a lazer bullet
Louder than an atom bomb
Chromium plated boiling metal
Brighter than a thousand suns

Flying high on rapture
Stronger free and brave
Nevermore encaptured
They've been brought back from the grave

With mankind ressurrected
Forever to survive
Returns from Armageddon to the skies

He is the Painkiller
This is the Painkiller
Wings of steel Painkiller
Deadly wheels Painkiller

hmm....

got that Amy on - the more i listen to her album, the more i see/hear in her. and to think, i didn't even like her. i'm a bit slow on the uptake sometimes :D

Mister Jones is currently my favourite.

now i want to go and see her sing.

@Dub - Halford's best couplet has to be

Grinder, looking for meat
Grinder, wants you to eat...

Fucking poetry, pure fucking poetry, matey. :D

Baby, baby, touch me, touch my Grinder, touch my Hellion, touch my Harley, I love you Leather Rebel, ooh, ooh, baby, baby...

This morning's tube music was The Faint - Danse Macabre. Not sure what I think of it yet. Are their other albums any different/better?

"V forever baby!" mixed by bryan gee

Lunchtime purchases ...

Gridlok – Break the System CD1 Mixed (Heading into the neuro-funk/techstep realm of Black Sun Empire this is the album for you if you want dark and hard DnB with highly detailed production that keeps you interested at all times  …. heh that sounds like I have a vested interest in people getting this – promise I don’t! :D)
Shellac - Excellent Italian Greyhound (Think this'll turn out to be my second favourite Shellac album after '1000 Hurts' :D)

Squarepusher - "Do You Know Squarepusher" and "Alive In Japan"
MOP - "Warriorz"
Brian Wilson - "Smile"
The Jesus And Mary Chain - "Psychocandy"
The Stone Roses - "The Stone Roses"
Venetian Snares - Breezeblock mix

A load of essential mixes (they are all on the internet!)

DJ Sneak 1997
Optimo 2006
Daft Punk 1997 (one of my fave mixes ever)
DJ Harvey 1998
Lindstrom & Prins Thomas 2007
Radioslave 2007
Felix Da Housecat 1997

Just got back from seeing/hearing St Vincent at The Lumanaire - brilliant stuff! Talanted ... beautiful ... funny ... I want to marry her! :D ;)

The Best Of The Waterboys (disapointing - the words often don't match up to the power of the music & delivery, too many of the songs stop as as they seem to be about to reach somewhere further)

System Of A Down - System Of A Down

That their breezeblock that starts with their remix of 'the pinball number song' from Seasame St? If so
They do start of with a load of warped counting to 12, and then continues with more warped stuff for 26 minutes or so, never at any point letting up in the pumelling it gives your ears. At the end it has some bizarre shit about "doggy-doggy-doggy-....". I like it a lot and will be buying more VS stuff when I find it at a decent price. I've been told the "Songs For My Cat" album is the best.
