i remember thinking it was a stiff price for a small bill - shame, they deserve the crowds, innit?

it is a shame, yep. just got a phone call from the arts depot confirming the cancellation and giving me me money back.

yeah, at the borderline. for £6 a pop or whatever it was. so i have £32 back to spend on booze at that one :D what a fun weekend that will be - KD&L on friday night, girls aloud on saturday night, have a rest sunday, and then hot rocket trio at the purple turtle on the bank holiday monday night :D

I seem to be going through a bit of soul phase at the moment. Today I'm listening to John Legend- Once Again.

It's OK. That's about it, however, I have to play pretty neutral music as my colleague shares my speakers.

The Disco-tech of DJ Cosmo, a punk comp called Fuck Art, Let's Danse, Soft Machine - 6 and Jesus & Mary Chain - Psychocandy (they'd have been MUCH better if Martin Rushent or Trevor Horn had produced them ;))

Repatriation - Audley Rollins c/w Repatriation Version - U Roy Junior (Explosion 7") on rotation for about half an hour.
