Visiting my parent over Christmas, I dug out a load of CDs that are still living with them, including this. It's of its time, and the rest of the album is diminished by just how good Battle Flag is, but it's still some good big beat fun.

Fannypack - So Stylistic
Looking back, it's a little surprising that they didn't get picked up with the brief faux-80s fad of the early part of the 2000s, e.g. Scissor Sisters, Electric Six, LCD Soundsystem. Filthy and very lo-fi, there's a decent consistency to this.
