# On The CD Player Today (take 6)

I don't mind the vocal tracks.

I suppose it's not what you expect with Mogwai. What Are They Doing In Heaven surprised me on Les Revenants, but I grew into it a bit. Plus the almighty 2 Rights Make 1 Wrong has some warped vocals on.

Orbital - Snivilisation

Richard Thompson - Acoustic Classics II

Some really good stuff on here, brilliant versions of Genesis Hall & Gethsemane in particular

The Delgados - Hate

In a fairer world, they would've been huge. I suppose releasing stuff on your own label might've done for them. Shame.

Trojan Presents ''Rocksteady'' booming along nicely, man i love Rocksteady:DThundering Bass, sweet sweet vocals,so many gems from that what was really quite a short period in the development of Jamaican an Soundsystem music, plenty BIG! Riddims:cool:

Benoit Pioulard - Stanza III
Benoit Pioulard - The Benoit Pioulard listening matter
Mogwai - Every country's sun

Aja. As a drummer it's interesting hearing the different approaches (and it's a stellar line up).

Brian Eno - Here Come The Warm Jets

Never heard this before. It's fucking awful. Really really bad.

I think I only like his ambient stuff. I remember buying Before and After Science, mainly on the strength and beauty of By This River, and was very disappointed with the rest of it. I've not ventured any further down the non-ambient road.

Absolute codswallop. It's fucking great.

In fact all the first four are utterly amazing, if I had the cash/room I'd have bought the vinyl re-issues that have just come out.

Not even Another Green World? It's the best thing he's done, you really should check it out. Here's a nice piece from the Quietus about it. Even the artwork is great.

Its just bored me half way through, though ive nearly always put it on after listening to Banging Techno/Acid Techno and tearing DnB after a Squat/Free party so mi heads been craving something more metronomic,be having a quiet night in this weekend so ill give it another go
