Nina Nastasia & Jim White - You Follow Me

I like this album so much more after seeing her perform some of its songs, unaccompanied :)

JOI, Talvin Singh, Asian Dub Foundation, et al, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Remixed: Star Rise, produced by Michael Brook.
-There's that Nusrat track which appears on Bend It Like Beckham (end credits)!
I knew it had to be somewhere other than his own albums, with those beats underneath... Settled now.

Steve Reich: Different Trains
Art Blakey: Live At Birdland (or 'A Night At Birdland', can't remember exact title)

...The latter is just GREAT! I know why the old drum'n'bass people love to listen to tight hard bop (sp?) sessions like this... Absolutely stunning. Wish I could play like that... :D

Bill Frisell, Don Byron, Don Alias, Henry Rollins, et al-- Weird Nightmare: Meditations on Mingus. One of those Hal Willner thingys.

Now Hear This - 15 tracks handpicked by The Word (va comp from October 06)
Oasis - Heathen Chemistry
Midhaven/Revolver USA records Autumn 1996 promo
Classic Rock - 100% live -
mostly meh so far but this is a fucking good version of Meet On The Ledge by Fairport Convention, (early) Fleetwood Mac were good too.

Lou Reed - Transformer

Not played this for years, just feels 'right' after today's hellish first day back at work
