Yay!

for me, just:

white/light

a project by "matt clark and jeremy lemos" whoever they are. track 4 on this sounds like the entire infinitude of the cosmos being sucked in through my pineal gland and imploding into a metacosmic void null point in the centre of my head. i think it could well be the most mindfuckingly trippy thing i have ever heard in my life. i'm slightly scared of it coz it really does make me feel tripped out as if on LSD, but it's incredible. it helps that lemos is a sound engineer - the attention to detail is superb. rest of the cd's awe-inspiring too.

skim - i'll try to remember to burn you a copy as given what your tastes are like, and your recent asking about minimalism, you might like this.

I should mention that it's the latest Bleep43 podcast

Urgh, all that Kraftwerk. Although I did hear a great samba-type version of Tour de France the other day, livened it right up.

Last night I listened to Les Mysteres des Voix Bulgares again for the first time in ages. It's so magical

He doesn't play THAT much Kraftwerk - the shows are pretty varied - nowt wrong with a bit of KW anyway!

i've an album i picked up on the carboot by three members of les mysteres - it was clearly recorded in the mid 80's, and features, as well at their usual haunting & beautiful fayre, some ace/awful bulgarian folk/electro crossover tracks. :D

me: joe gibbs - majestic dub
weather report - i sing the body electric

Is that Trio Bulgarka? I've wondered whether to investigate their stuff before, but have been put off by an expectation of the exact thing you've described :D I loved the stuff they did on The Sensual World though.
