Only things that are putting me off is a 170 mile drive (i used to live in hereford so i know the route well) and I'd be going on my own.

Hang on, is this really booze free?

Didnt get the job, so i can go, but if i cant take me own booze it will all add up to be too expensive.

I asked someone who I thought might have been and they said you can take some booze to your camp, but not to stages etc..... But I couldn't find anything on the website..... :hmm:

Here you go, this is what was said when I asked on another forum.

We went the year before last. We had a great time and met some lovely people there. The guy who runs it is into dance music so there's a fair bit of that. On the down side the camping area is outside the festival area and you can't take your own alcohol in (they even did bag searches). Also the camping area was very rough, no lights, packed in like Glasto, not enough toilets and there was only 2 water taps for camping area. Don't know what the crews camping was like or if they'd be checked for alcohol.

If it wasn't for the no alcohol rule we'd have gone again because it had a good vibe and there was a lot of nice people there.

oh well
the camping area sounds worse to me, hopefully they've sorted it out :hmm:
don't expect them to let you take loads of booze in really
would you if it was your event?

Oh i got the impression you knew from your last post.....

I'd expect to able to take a few, but to be allowed to drink them wherever i went.... like at glade.

I'm pretty sure I took loads of booze in with me  You know. In my pockets.

And the camping area was nothing like he described ime. We had plenty of space and were right near the main gate.

cool
was getting worried then!
will trust yer judgement as you went last year
cheers

ah yes, the person I'd got my info from was 2 years previously.......

Ive emailed them about working anyway.

I just looked at my old nozstock pics and it seems everyone was drinking from plastic glasses. I was also wearing what appear to be two plastic can holders as bracelets so it looks like I was definitely sneaking booze in yeah.

Classy

I just have to pay my deposit, and then I'll be confirmed as a steward.

I'll be going on my own so people to potentially camp with, if I don't get some kind of posh stewards camping would be amazingly appreciated, and if anyone needs a lift from gatwick/south London/Surrey/Brighton I'm probably your man as I'll be driving alone.

Shall do.

I don't know if they'll want me there on weds or Thursday. I'm at sgp the weekend before so am contemplating leaving sgp and camping somewhere around Hereford/hay on Wye for a couple of nights

There's a very remote possibility I could go straight from one to the other as my Freind runs a stall and said she'll ask if I can go in early with them an help them set up shop then go on to do the stewarding. Fingers crossed.

I'm working this now, I'll be on my lonesome so wouldnt mind having ages friendly faces to meet with :)

2 weeks! yay!
what's an 'ages friendly face' sim?
i have an aging (sometimes friendly) face
