Just finished reading Nico songs they never play on the radio, really is a very good book. I'm no fan of Nico or her music but a good music book is always welcome. Recommended.

I (used to) know someone who is mentioned in that book and can attest that,

He knew John Cooper-Clarke and Nico. Said JCC would share his last spoon with you. Nico would steal your last spoon.

I've spent some time with John Cooper-Clarke and found him polite, interesting and amusing. Don't remember him as overtly junkiefied. If he was he kept it to himself nicely and didn't let it intrude.
