Mice infestation in council flat....

Hey Tony, I get mice every winter. I use the sonar plug in things and this rat trap-it's £expensive at £40 but I can get 3+ a day with it. It's very quick and the light flashes to tell you there is one inside. You can just empty it in the bin.

Yeah, the pest control team that my housing association sent out have just left and today was their last visit. However, last night I saw a mouse walking across the pipes in the bedroom and I heard what sounded like a mouse rave in the walls.

Just now on the phone to the housing lot to do battle n get this sorted.

Post them to kalidarkone Tony - I'm sure she'd make sure they settled in to their new home.

Keep on mithering the HA - they can't justify taking ages to sort this out. Hope you're doing ok.

Just had to get off the phone, was bearing down on losing my shit. The housing association are insisting that the pest control lot have left boxes down and they won't be back.

I need to clear my head before I call them back.

Not meaning to make excuses for them or anything, but it may be that their approach has been to put poison down and then await the inevitable demise of all the mice. So it may be as well to give them a little bit of time - frustrating as that might be.

There really isn't a way of instantaneously just zapping every mouse on the premises. Well, there is, but not one that is compatible with either the building remaining standing, or you remaining in it for the duration :)

Oh I wasn't clear. They didn't leave any boxes when they were here just now, they took them all with them. I was trying to explain thst to the housing association but the person I was speaking to was insisting I was wrong. Hence me getting irate.

Oh, right. Well, yeah, that is fucked up.

It's tough for you - if you know that you can have a problem with anger, it's frustrating when you NEED to get irate but daren't in case it either turns into full-blown rage, or they choose to regard it as inappropriate anger. But you can be forceful and definite without it being furious, and if they start playing the victim card, end the call before it escalates.
