Is anyone watching it? I just watched it on iPlayer because I had seen a clip and spotted Ashley Jensen, so figured it was a bit of fun and frippery.

It’s not quite what I was expecting!

Rebecca Front was wonderfully grumpy.

It was a bit of a "maverick detective" set up perhaps, but none the worse for that. I'm sure being a registrar can't be quite that interesting

Good point. It seems unlikely that all those things would happen in one day
