Lettuce recipes

I've got a giant lettuce that needs using up. Getting tired of just putting it in salads. How else can I use it?
I know you can cook with it, but most of the recipes I've seen are for little gems, would they work with other types of lettuce?

Cooked lettuce is vile. Just do a caesar salad because that only has lettuce and no other veg so you can use a whole one easily.

BBQ or griddled lettuce is the dogs.
Slice lengthways into slices about 1 inch wide, drizzle over olive oil and grind salt and pepper on.
BBQ or griddle on each side for a few mins, until charred.
Eat and be amazed.
On a BBQ it is the smokiest food I have ever had.

I chuck lettuce into stir fries and in with pasta right at the end, not a recipe but it's usable

Stir fry.

I use a bit of soy sauce, oyster sauce, finely chopped onion, garlic and ginger. When this is cooked I throw in the lettuce. You will need a lot of lettuce, it cooks down a lot. Sometimes I'll throw in some prawns and cashews. Quick and tasty.

Tired lettuce of any kind can be added to ramen. I also use it with blue cheese and frozen peas as a pasta sauce.
