Is 'oriental' the correct term?

Tbf, would be super funny to go to an English pub in Tokyo or something that had the same idea. Would be hard to be angry.

There's (or there was, pre-covid) plenty of "Irish" and "British" pubs around, where there's a bit of confusion. Have seen a Union Jack flag in an "Irish" bar here and something called an "Irish car bomb" drink in some of these hybrid hostelries. Some of these places are just cash ins on the idea that western style places are "cool". But there's plenty of decent ones, too. Often Irish or British run, or run by people who know a bit about the culture they're promoting.

Have to confess that I am impressed that there is someone who does not have a TV in this day and age.
That sort of thing impressed or at least shocked me as a child in the 70s. However, I don't have a TV and probably half the people I know don't have one either.
