The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy 2024 race week is about to begin.

in 2020 and 2021 racing was cancelled because of covid19.

Lap record: Peter Hickman 16m 36.114s – 136.358 mph (219.447 km/h) (2023)
That is an average of 136mph on normal A roads.

Don't know TopCat .. just spent some time looking at on bike TT footage on x/twitter and just went a few miles with M Dunlop from a year or two ago at the Manx, it was quite a bit scary !!

StoneRoad, I haven't been to the Island. But I would think long and hard about going on the circuit on mad Sunday, there are just so many nutters/idiots out there on fast bikes ..

The on bike footage really brings home the insanity of it. The riders have to know every inch of the course and are riding on pure instinct at times. There is zero margin for error.
