Interesting castle

Elizabeth castle is mostly like typical castles that might be found in the UK - lots of Tudor bits with civil war additions, and then lots more added for wars against France in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Only it was all crowned by some Nazi brutalism on account of it being in the Channel Islands.

It's full of little details like 3 adjacent gaps for 3 Napoleonic-era canons to fire through being knocked into one gap for a German searchlight. Probably the second most interesting castle in Jersey, although unlike others it does have musket and canon firing demos.

"Probably the second most interesting castle in Jersey"
Without knowing the number of castles in Jersey, I do not know the significance of this.
