Indiana Jones 4

awesome stuff. I am excited about this against my better judgement. **slips into day dream about sexy Indy in his hay day getting all sweaty when he runs from boulders and scared of snakes***

*cough* me too *cough* Indy was my first ever ever crush, when I was about 5. A friend came up to me in the playground and gave me a crinkled sepia postcard of him; it was a picture of him on the rope bridge with a sword, looking all crumpled and desperate but still devil-may-care. Ooooh! *fans self*

65.

Always looked a bit Germanic to me. And what kind of man carries a whip?

I'm not sure if this is just movie spin but Harrison Ford said that it was never scripted to be a whip. That came about through development.

The director wanted the charecter to have a skill with a melee weapon and not just carry a gun. They got a weapons trainer in and got Ford to try various weapons to see which Ford looked most natural with. Apparently he took really well to the whip and the rest is history.

So your question applies not just to the char but what sort of guy is natually good with a whip hey? Or had he already had lots of practice? Ford you sly dog!

I had no idea there was one being made! Excellent - they're some of the best light-hearted adventure films around, and the formula's strong enough that a fourth episode stands a chance of working. He's also the sort of character that will still work well as an older man, although I do hope they don't pair him up with a 21-year-old love interest.

When I was a kid, I so wanted to be Indiana Jones. Actually, I still do.

Cate Blanchett, Ray Winstone and Jim Broadbent are in it...

There was talk that Karen Allen would return for this one as the film features Indy's and Marion Ravenwood's son, but she recently dissappeared from the cast list on imdb. Shame, I thought she was cute and plucky and it would have been nice to have her back.

God, wasn't he gorgeous.

I got my first ever 'funny feeling in my tummy' over Han Solo  Him and Wonder Woman. She didn't last though :D

She has been officially announced as being in it and is listed on IMDB as such.

For a while she dropped off the IMDB listing, but here she is on the set of the new Indiana Jones:
