Thailand is great, and I don't want to sound too picky, but it's a little too humid for my oily skin )))Thailand now offers a retirement visa. Owning property isn't a good idea but it'd be a great country to grow old in.

Well, my notion of multiculturalism includes, apart from wide acceptance and tolerance towards the different, such things as cost of living and beautiful lagoons ) I don't think I can afford to move to Amsterdam, nor would I probably want to.. I'd like to be near the beach, not the stinking canals )
Well, how about Tenerife? It seems to be both almost perfect climatically and retiree friendly, particularly in terms of taxes and costs of living..
I've been checking out different locations in the South of India for almost five years. India is such an incredible place, but you must be extremely healthy and adaptable to survive the extremities. Besides, It's been getting increasingly expensive for what you get for money.
What's the best place to go for Tenerife property, do you think? I should really check it out before it's too late ) It's my experience, however, that some brokers charge too much to both the seller and the buyer..tenerife you can still get a full english breakfast, english papers if thats your thing and cheap return flights to blighty to come back and visit.
