A good point. I describe myself as being a fearless hunter of politicians and seeker of truth, which means my political activity involves being naked at my computer a lot and firing off missives with too many exclamation marks!!!!!1

Well I kind of side with the modern day Conservatives, although at the same time I believe in doing something about the environment, I believe in a welfare state. So not sure really. I don't have any time for New Labour anyhow and the Liberal Democrats just seemed to be a confused party to me.

Incidentally after taking the political compass apparently I'm Liberal Democrat. But I wouldn't vote for them strange eh? What I mean is there are views to the right I agree with, at the same time there are views to the left I also agree with, it's not a cut and dry case.

all the main parties are right of center.

The flavours may be slightly different but the 2-party system we have are slavish adherents of 'pragmatic' neoliberalist economics

All political parties are coalitions of a range of positions so dont be surprised if you dont agree with all of them.

But the LDs are a coalition of liberals and social democrats, and that's a particularly problematic mix: the Labour party is a social democratic one and the Conservative party is liberal, so it's not suprising that the two don't work together well. The mad ones are all liberals, of course.

You're a workfareist then. They'll all do, I wouldn't worry too much about which one you vote for.
