I'm making a game casserole

Waitrose used to stock it in the late 70s/early 80s but that was when Volvos and Abba were still chic

Gjetost or geitost (mean's goat cheese), either is fine. Whereabouts are you?

Aldi and Morrisons do goats cheese in Scotland, possibly others do but I rarely go to other supermarkets so don't know. I just thought they'd sell it nationally. It's usually just over £1 for about 100g.

Oh, this isn't normal goats cheese - as I said above this is caramelised whey, so not really cheese in the ordinary sense.

Aldi I can get to, Waitrose or the John Lewis food hall I can just about justify the time and expense (if combining it with a journey into Central London for other things).
