Ill Advised Protest Chants

Gromit

International Man of Misery
Saw a protest today.

Bus load of kids.

Grown ups with megaphones.

Plackards, the works.

"Heck no, we won't go!".

No one was trying to move them?!

20 minutes later they'd gone. Possibly cause it was nearly lunch time.

Methinks their rightous shouts of immovability is akin to going vegitarian and having a bacon sandwich 5 minutes later. Well you certainly showed them!

Apparently they wanted 'Funding' and they wanted it 'now'.

Do Fisher Price do a 'My First Protest kit'?
It was like a protest taster session by a careers advisor.
Ok you've done protestor, now we're off to Westminster for 15 miutes as evil admistrator. Write an essay about which you preferred.

a friend of mine used to be a councillor, and he got targetted by some muslims who objected to the council's decision to close down a community centre, as it has been taken over by muslim fundamentalists who had basically turned it into a mosque

they marched, all the way to his house, to confront him, chanted outside, something along the lines of 'we want xxxx xxxx, why won't he speak to us?' there were about 50 of them apparently

he was away at the time, on holiday with us

his neighbour came out and asked them what was going on, they demanded to see him, she said he'd gone on holiday

'oh' ........... , and with that their protest collapsed :D

I rather like the one I've heard on Tottenham court road by the anti-Scientology protesters.

*points at KFC two doors up* CHICKEN
*points at Scientology building* CULT

repeat ad nauseum.

Would be better if they alternated between $cientology and Ben Elton's name on We Will Rock You.

"Cult..."
"Cunt.."
"Cult...."

The slogan 'Lesbians against Bush' was used on a banner by a couple of women protesting outside the White House a while back.

On the big anti-Iraq war demo, I saw a woman wearing an outsize white t-shirt with what can only be described as a fake wig pinned in the centre at around her waist level. Above was an arrow pointing down, and above the arrow was the slogan "The Only Bush I Trust".

I'm stunned no-one has mentioned the BA strikers shouting "Willy, Willy, Willy, OUT OUT OUT!"
It amused me :D

For future reference, if anyone feels like standing opposite a line of psyched-up members of the TSG in full riot gear while singing that old classic 'Harry Roberts is our friend', could they not do it when I'm stood next to them if that's OK?

Thanks in advance.

I remember at a big anti war demo in 1990 there was a massive banner reading "Victory to Iraq".
I was on an anti racism march once and this group in front of me kept chanting "Coconut" at every black police officer we passed.:facepalm:

I was there, saw the banner, also remember a guy shouting 'jihad' a lot, i think the banner got torn down.

The Brighton anti war protest to close the TA centre down was a bit of a damp squid turned up at 9am to protest the TA had left at 6am  came back on Sunday found some leaflets in the gutter.
protested next weekend nobody there:facepalm:

Huge demo in Mansfield in support of the miners, where some of them were chanting at women "get your tits out for the lads". I growled at them, as did others and reminded them of the womens' support groups. Fucking idiots.

I fondly remember those chants and the subsequent boob flashing.

Saw a bunch of hefty red-faced lads on a bus making their way to the big Countryside Alliance demonstration a few years ago. They were all sat at the front on the top deck and were singing 'The wheels on the bus go round and round'.

It seemed it was the first time they'd been on a doubledecker bus.

Most political chants are rubbish compared to football chants.

My favourite chant is used on German antifa demos to take the piss out of German Fash:

"ihr habt den Krieg Verloren..."

Which translates as "you lost the war..." repeated, followed by

"stalingrad, stalingrad, jeder schuss ein deutsche soldat"

which translates as "Stalingrad, every shot another German soldier"

I quite enjoyed watching 40 lads from Bolton waving an English flag at the EDL demo in Wrexham whilst chanting 'we want our country back'. D'oh!

Cue response from the af lads on the other side - 'it's that way'

:D funny one

I remember the "Victory to Iraq" banner. That was held aloft by the RCP and other ultra-leftists. I think the CND stewards asked the police to intervene in the end and remove them

You are a fucking idiot, ultra leftists would be the last people to hold such a position.

Went on a march against police brutality when I was 17 and got a turn on the tannoy at one point. The chants I led with were so fucking embarrassing that they're simply unrepeatable. Sometimes I break out in a cold sweat just thinking about them.

ultra leftist reject national liberation and the crude 'anti imperialist' analysis that various leftist muppets use to justify cheerleading nationalist movements.

They are the last people who would call for victory to serbia, iraq etc.

You can't leave us hanging like that.

A favourite of mine is "2-4-6-8, Organise and smash the State," which is usually rendered by people who clearly couldn't organise the proverbial in the proverbial.

But it is precisely the ultra-lefts who tend to fall into this position.

We are all Hezbollah. was a great one from the SWP and top of the charts if it wasnt for the coppers youd be dead, SWP guaranteed to crack a smile.

I do plenty of reading.

I suggest you attend some demos and mix with ultra-lefts. Twat.

I've been on plenty and I know you are talking shit, you don't understand what ultra leftism is and instead have equated it with leftists (Leninists, Maoists, Stalinists) who spout mental shit, when infact it is they very groups and ideologies that denounce ultra leftism.
