How to look up a bird GPS tracker

I found this thing in Dorset.
Its a green ringed gps tracker. I presume it has been on a birds leg.
The code is GB13 J14727
How can i look it up or find out what it was previously attached to.

Maybe contact the RSPB - they might know which organisations track birds.

BTO do the normal ringing. A tracker would normally be fitted at the same time to a young bird.

Various projects are running at present to track the movements of Ospreys and other birds of prey.

I would guess from the GB13 it was from the 2013 season.

I'm about to go out for a few errands, but I'll try to recall which projects were running trackers then, when I get back this afternoon.

My slightly fierce cat once brought home a racing pigeon in a non-viable state - not saying she did the deed - but I thought better of reporting it in pre-internet days ...

I'm not sure that's a GPS ring.
I believe a lot of them simply log light and dark.

EDIT:-

I think that's just a passive tag with a locking mechanism on the side.

Perhaps RFID ...
