How to get chewing gum out of clothes?

I’ve got chewing gum on some new trousers I bought off Vinted, I’m pretty sure it was on there before because it’s been picked off leaving just a sticky mark. Unfortunately I’ve already left positive feedback. How can I completely get it out? The trousers are viscose or polyester or something.

Put trousers in plastic bag and freeze them. Then give to charity shop. That’s what I would do.

You can usually remove chewing gum by rubbing an ice cube on it and gradually scraping it off carefully.
I've managed to do that a few times, I don't have an ice cube tray in my fridge so I've had to chip some ice out of my freezer section
