How shit is 'The Hangover'?

The whole film is car crash version of Ferris Bueller, three men and a baby and Swingers...

or as one critic said - An intriguing, time-hopping set-up is wasted on obnoxious characters, celebrity cameos and crass attempts at humour.

Having said that, the 'look-on-the-face-of-owner-of-valued-object-that-gets-returned-in-tatters' cliché has been done to death in Hollywood.

The only thing the writers did was to leave out the scene in which the father of the bride would have inevitably dropped his jaw in disbelief at the state of the car and thrown a mini trantrum, only to realise that his daughter was getting married on that day and this 'was only a car'. Seen it many times before, and the film is no worse for the lack of it IMO.
