I think you've done the right thing. I cycled through Brockley the other day and thought how pleasant it was. Having said which, Hackney is a lot flatter for cycling

Won' be moving until mid June, after the daughter has finished her exams etc..the HA has a schedule of 42 days turn around too.

I am pretty much packed already as I moved to where I am now at the beginning of February and have purposely not unpacked all/stopped myself nesting!
I will literally be sitting on my hands for the next month and a half praying nothing goes wrong.gaijingirl

I know those roads pretty well - it's lovely round there. We might have moved there too a while ago. Hilly Fields in particular is lovely. Great views too. Congratulations.

I've lived in both, Brockley wins hands down for me, got a bit of an arty community vibe going on there too. Anywhere in the conservation area is the place to live if you can afford it.
