While compound Internet opinion tells us that it's now cool to hate Avatar, in the real world it got pretty good reviews. Highlander on the other hand was considered a joke then and it still is now. It's a classic for those who think film history started with Star Wars.
Like so many shit films of the 80's it's of nostalgic value to a generation who grew up with shit films like this one.
