I get XL ones online. Why do supermarkets only sell medium?? GrrI am haunted by the fact I can only buy 'large' ones, my hands are not exactly big, yet it takes a real effort to get the fucking things on & off.
They're alright for the first 3-4weeks...Horrid things. Make my hands itchy, never fit (I've got bizarrely huge hands) and smell odd. I hate them.

Intriguing. Have you done this?Try shaking some bicarbonate of soda in them. Leave overnight then turn inside out put them on and pretend you're covid washing your hands to get rid of it.

Soft lass. But aye, that's one of the reasons I want to use gloves - so I can use hot water to wash a bike, but if they're too thick you can't feel what you're doingI used them for their purpose - washing up. One can use hotter water with a glove, IME
what do people use them for?
They do need turning inside out and washing and drying occasionally.
like if you've helped a cow give birth
I put 88% clean hands in them usually. 0 cow moisture.Yes you'd think it depends what you'd stuck your hand down last as to how badly they smell.
Have you got covid? I always found them to have a strong smell.Pot marigolds are nice, just getting some seeds off mine now for next year.
No smell at all

What about the heat of the water? Everyone knows washing up water should be Very Hot.Think I've got a pair lurking in the cupboard under the sink, but never wear them - no point as washing up liquid isn't napalm.
