Dear god, what happens inside them? I washed my hands for a decent amount of time and they still smell

From time to time I turn them inside out and give a good scrub. Gets rid of the smell.

I used them for their purpose - washing up. One can use hotter water with a glove, IME

Try shaking some bicarbonate of soda in them. Leave overnight then turn inside out put them on and pretend you're covid washing your hands to get rid of it.

Soft lass. But aye, that's one of the reasons I want to use gloves - so I can use hot water to wash a bike, but if they're too thick you can't feel what you're doing

I am a very irregular gloves wearer. They usually get holes before smells.

I once stabbed myself in the palm while WU with gloves on. I was all "Oh, will you look at that tiny little hole there!" then I took the glove off and it was full of watery stanky blood

Yes you'd think it depends what you'd stuck your hand down last as to how badly they smell.

I put 88% clean hands in them usually. 0 cow moisture.

Have you got covid? I always found them to have a strong smell.

I always use wugs so that I can use really hot water (5t3IIa )

But now that my internal thermostat is borked putting them in makes me really really hot, so I now cut the cuffs so that they don’t cover my whole wrist. I’ve had to learn to be careful about not flooding them.

Smells: yep. Yip. Gip. I wash my hands before putting the wugs on, and if they get water inside I’ll take them off so that they’re mostly inside out to dry. And I always hang them up by clipping them with a clothes peg on a piece of string above the sink so they’re suspended with the cuffs open to the air.

But my greatest bugbear about wugs is that I can’t buy single gloves. Why not?!?! The right glove always wears out sooner so I have loads of left hand gloves in the cupboard under the sink. Yeah yeah, turn them inside out to make a pair, but this offends my OCD, and the inside out one gets sweaty inside. Sometimes I’ll wear a L glove on my R hand but thats as uncomfortable as wearing clobber back to front.

So wasteful. Why don’t wug makers sell single gloves?

I use latex single use gloves like food prep or surgical gloves at work.

What about the heat of the water? Everyone knows washing up water should be Very Hot.
