I might have overdone it... I've now done ‘underrated/good/great’ lists for the 00s (234), 10s (369) and 20s (53), and that came to 656 films

So obviously I've put them all into a spreadsheet, and am plodding through adding in C20 stuff. And then realising I might as well just do a spreadsheet of all films I've seen, and rating them

Some of those are mindblowingly good. Hunt for the Wilderpeople makes it into my top 20 for sure (I don't have a set top list of films in a set order and it has to be 20 cos I can't narrow it down to 10, but it made me laugh like a fucking drain as well as being really poignant). Gone Girl - not as good as the book (as usual) but decent adaptation, Safety Not Guaranteed - absolutely get in, loved it, 3 Billboards - yep good film, Get Out - loved it.

I've been caught out with things like that before and lost everything, so I'm going old school.

I've done the skeleton for 656 films, and am now just filling out all 22 fields for each. Then I will go back and add all the lower tier films I've recorded as having watched since lists began in 2007. Finally I'll check the WATCHED folder on my primary backup drive, and wade through the spreadsheets inventorying all the optical discs, to pick up any last stragglers.

Should be done in a few months, don't wait up

A good 75% or so are on Netflix, Prime, Disney+ etc, there's not many on there that have come via unorthodox routes. There's a few on there without their better known international names (e.g. The Raid + sequel) as I only pasted one column.
