Charlie solicits artists' impressions of the hipster who shushed them in a bar in It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia:

I think this example of impressive penmanship might be from Frank Harper's ageing hooligan film St George's Day, but I may be wrong...

Withnail has an early scene with Up The Provos or similar on the wall outside the greasy spoon, iirc.

e2a here it is!

Spoke to a self-proclaimed "film historian" recently who'd never heard of the film. Was slightly taken aback (although really shouldn't be, as keep telling myself that everyone has different life experiences).

I think there might be some graffiti in V for Vendetta somewhere at some point? 🤔

Anyway, I'm unilaterally deciding this thread can include graffiti in TV as well, cos I was recently reminded of this post, about Rimbaudian King Mob graffiti turning up in Dr Who:

King Mob also make an appearance in season 2 of Stranger Things, probably due to the mediating influence of Grant Morrison than because of the Stranger Things writers being that into situationism themselves:

John Landis had a running gag with the title 'See You Next Wednesday' - Blues Brothers crash through a billboard with the poster advertising a King Kong type film; American Werewolf it's a porn film showing in Leicester Square (and there's a poster on the tube iirc); Trading Places it's a poster on a wall; Coming to America it's on a poster on the NY subway - a space film. I think it might be in all his films?
