Kerala sounds lovely though
I think it's a bit calmer these days & the ket monkeys are easily avoided.
Me & the Mrs are stopping off there for a few days en route to Kerela in March - I've not been to Goa since I was pill munching back in the mid 90's - be interesting to see it again.
(plus, we've got the cash to do it a little more elegantly this time
