I'm playing Glasgow Stereo tomorrow night (Sat) and Edinburgh Voodoo Rooms on Sunday. Anyone about? Any Monochrome Set fans want a guest pass?

Failing that, any recommendations for decent apres-gig bars (not mega clubs!)

editor I probably won't be up for going out but if you want some fab vegetarian Japanese food go to ichiban fusion on Dumbarton road (nearest underground station is kelvinhall), also kelvingrove museum is well worth a wander and the cafe is good. Lots of Indian restaurants, any of the ashoka ones are good, also lots of new places open on Great Western Road.

For tea try tchai ovna on otago lane, nearest underground is kelvinbridge. There's a set of abandoned railway tunnels nearby plus the former goods yard is now a park with some great Street art. Nearby Gibson Street is student central so there's bound to be some late night bars there. Avoid Finnieston unless you want beards and hipsters.

Can't make it (it's my younger daughter's birthday tiday and the older one's tomorrow), but break a leg!

You'll be very close to the Horseshoe and the Yesbar, from Stereo, depending what time your set's over. Pity I can't meet you for a pint.

I had few drinks in Broadcast last month. It was a Sunday night, but had good music and a decent crowd in there.

Had a blinding gig at the Voodoo Rooms last night - what a beautiful venue with a brilliant crowd! Went for an apres-gig quaff at Whistle Binkie which was a grand old rock pub with a feisty band playing Sabbath/Led Zep/Free covers into the wee small hours. It's open till 3am, free entry, and very much recommended. Not many pubs like that left.

I had a storming night out in Edinburgh last night. First off enjoyed a pub full of drinkers boozily belting out Scottish songs to a solo act, and then went to the Oz Bar - super friendly people and staff - then on to the tiny Royal Oak for a full on folkie experience before stumbling along with a load of new friends to the Jazz Bar which went on till 3am. Cracking night out for a Monday!
