I just saw Walthamstow FC beat Kempston 3-2 and it was the most exciting match I ever saw... 2-1 to Kempston in the first 10 minutes, an equaliser for Walthamstow early in the 2nd half, a penalty to Kempton that got saved, then a penalty at the other end that resulted in a 10 minute brawl cos the Kempston players got overexcited and their manager got involved and then sent off... then Walthamstow knocked in the penalty and this happened:

we were right behind the goal, it was such a good buzz

Was walking the dog a few weekends ago when the other half was shopping. We happened upon Sevenoaks Town's ground. Looked like a decent facility, 3g pitch with a clubhouse. Only thing was there's a bank that surrounds the ground, not sure if they have stewards patrolling on match days asking for gate money!

They've got plan for a new main stand, clubhouse and changing rooms to along main side. Will be a great ground if they can pull that off.

They seem to be spending a fair few quid on players too looking at recent signings. Hopefully this is all sustainable.

The Nuneaton fans were practicing their charm on the Hitchin Town stewards and stand-in goalie last Saturday. Shouldn’t need stewards and police if their fans weren’t such w*nk*rs. Largely an awful league.

The police can insist on being present, suggesting they were caught a bit unawares by events.

Mind you, if it's anywhere like where I live there are so few officers available on an evening shift it may be they decided to prioritise elsewhere.

There were police present at the Trans Day of Visibility match between the women’s team and TRUK last April though whether that was requested by the club or on the insistence of the police I’m aware. All I do know were that a lot of threats were apparently made against the club by the usual Gender Critical bunch and their right wing friends. As in so many cases that threat failed to materialise just as when a bunch of “football lads” threatened to turn up at some of my Goal Diggers games. Of course as we’ve seen in Warrington what these transphobes may be capable of is still something to be genuinely concerned about.

12 games? Must have been seriously out of order!
Repeatedly called the Ebbsfleet manager a "German c**t", apparently. He's also a repeat offender, so probably gets additional matches due to previous incidents. I guess our officials and guests will have to suffer him in the directors' box next weekend.

Or they should refuse him entry.

Do we have principles or not?

Sadly not, Boreham Wood FC is real and as well as having to suffer their Neanderthal supporters over the years we have also more recently had to endure their unfit players infiltrating our ranks!

Did we not have a police escort for a game there?

Not quite. We had a police car shadow us on the walk back with the passenger watching us like a hawk. They then parked up in the railway station car park watching us and drove off as soon as the train doors closed.

Two sets of away fans had been attacked in the immediate run up to our visit, one Carshalton fan badly sadly. It was prevention work by the police. It should be added it was believed the people responsible for the assaults did not go to the matches.
