1) Semi-finals should not be played at Wembley.
2) Penalty shoot-outs are not 'a lottery'.

Yes, penalty shoot outs are a test of a particular footballing skill (two actually - taking penalties and saving them). The fact that we seem to think they're a lottery in this country goes a long way to explaining why we're shit at them. Other countries recognise that practicing them may actually lead to improved performance when it comes to taking them

"Ooooh, but you can't replicate the pressure on the training ground"

Why bother turning up for training at all then eh

CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luton are back :)

I'm saying that the argument that you can't practice them is bollocks. I've heard it often enough, from 'top' managers too

Yep. Should be there early for a few beers.

There's also this friend of a friend who's an ex taxi driver who opened up a real ale pub/micro brewery in this front room of a house on Welling High Street. It only holds 20 people. I'm hoping to get a few beers there with a few mates. But there might be 1000 Luton trying to get in!

Shame it's such an early kick-off. We're heading down about 10, to arrive around 11.30, so might try to grab a couple of swift ones in that place, or the club next to the ground. Enjoy!
