Free Benefit Bad Gals mascara

Geri

wasn't born to follow
with the July issue of Glamour magazine (out now).

It's a small one (4g) but the magazine is only £2 so still a bargain.

Having said that I am not overly impressed and wouldn't pay full price for it.

it's the worst mascara i've ever used in my opinion.

now loads of ppl will discover this and not, in the future, spend out for the full size out of curiosity and being seduced by the packaging like i did... interesting tactic.

it's like all over the internet one in ten reviews says it's ace and every other one says its awful. one wonders if some people have eyelashes that make it set properly or something.

absolutely RUBBISH mascara.

actually, the problem lies with putting any at all on lower lashes, the top ones are fine.

I can't even get it on properly and when I do it just looks wrong - but then it's black and I'm too fair to wear black in the first place :D

I found it went on alright and was not particularly smudgy, it was just no better than the one I get from Tesco, 3 for £5.

Definitely not as good as the Boots freebie they had a while back (no 7 I think it was).

If anyone wants to give away any, I'd love to have it - I do really like it!!

Do I have wierd eyelashes - that Maybelline pink one that's supposed to be iconic etc etc I find completely and utterly useless....

BC - I would like the Radley dog but I have just spent about 3 weeks clearing out just my bedroom - resulting in 6 enormous bags going to the charity shop. I now have 3 other rooms to do and I have made a solemn promise to gaijinboy not to collect new things.... :D We're in decorating hell... :(

I'll see how knackered mine is (about a year old but used about twice), if it's not dead do you want it?

Yes definitely - it's so pricey and I tend to lose things... (possibly when drunk)... Let me know if it's still ok and I'll send you an SAE. :)

I guess now is a bad time to mention that mascara has the shortest life span of all make up which is about 6 months then.... ?

spoilsports...

You're probably right - at least on the sharing thing - some of the "how long things last" advice I can't help feeling is perhaps "squeezed" by manufacturers to get us to buy more though.... although I guess it does go clumpy.

Damn, I bought the magazine as I love freebies and a mate of mine always goes on about benefit make up. It was utter shite, so sticky and horrible.
