Former players...

Antonio played 3 league games during the first Gavin Rose season, 2009/10. Gerry must have played about 50 games in total, but was sadly never the same player after a serious knee injury in the 2011 play-off final at Leatherhead, which effectively cost us promotion when we were 3-1 up with only a few minutes to go.
Ennio the third brother is a 'coach' at Whyteleafe with Junior James. Although not a player was involved with the club

It's behind a paywall but The Athletic has a feature on the way Muhammadu Faal left Crawley. If it's correct, I assume The Athletic got it checked by a lawyer before publishing, it's pretty shocking story and doesn't reflect well on Crawley.

The Farnborough forum is running a vote for their all time best keeper, John Power is one of the six keepers with votes to date. Les Cleevely wasn't nominated.

Perhaps unsurprisingly Maik Taylor, who went on to win 88 full international caps, looks set to win.

Disappointingly , Les Cleeveley has just turned up as a goalkeeping coach at Dartford

A busy week for the Cleevely family. His son Jack resigned as coach at Eversley & California on Sunday, after the manager left citing a different view of the future of the club to the board. Jack is appealing for a new club, as a player

Gio McGregor on the bench for Croydon Athletic yesterday.
That's a bit of a comedown for a player with his talent, although he'll be familiar with all their Palace connections there. He doesn't seem to have been playing for anyone so far this season and he'll be 26 next month. We only seemed to get the best out of him when Michael Timlin was playing behind him, and for half a season (until Timlin got injured) he looked as good as any attacking midfielder in National South.

One of my favourite Dulwich players. Loved a tackle!
He did, although he was also quite an impetuous tackler. He injured himself on the opening day of the 2017/18 season (having scored our goal in a 1-1 draw with Staines) making a reckless tackle for which I think he was booked, and was out for a couple of months. He was also sent off at Champion Hill playing against us for Folkestone a couple of years ago when they knocked us out of the FA Cup. A full blooded tackle looks great when it wins the ball cleanly and no one gets hurt, but I always felt Greeny made too many risky challenges without really being in control. He gave us 3 fine seasons, and it would probably have been at least one more if his work commitments hadn't prevented him from staying when we adopted the full time training regime for our second National South season. I hope he'll soon be fit and back to his best, even if it's in a rival club's colours.
