Former players...

I'm still shocked Vose played that many games. There have been some staggeringly bad players in the time I've watched Hamlet, but not ones who got so many minutes as him. Indiscipline, slow, couldn't tackle and hardly scored any goals for an attacking midfielder.

Perhaps you can name a game where he was good?

He fell out of favour pretty dramatically at Gillingham at the end of last year - didn't ever see details anywhere, but a few things were said by their manager that suggested he'd done something serious enough that he'd never play for them again. Don't know if that effected his chances of getting a club higher up, but completely agree, he should have had no problems finding a club at Step 2 on the ability he showed with us.

Apparently he kissed his teeth at Neil Harris over something, and was promptly told he was never going to play for Neil again.

Baffled me that he got a second year with us, one of my least favourite players in the nine years I’ve watched, never applauded the fans, produced awful performance after awful performance where he didn’t influence a game.

He did though play well for the first month we were in the division, and then was given a contract and decided he didn’t have to try any more. 18 months of abject performances followed!

A very accurate summary.

Very unlike the Cantona like Carew.
 
Waiting to hear when a player is frozen out by Harris for rolling his eyes or tutting in a loud and obvious manner. Never took Neil Harris for a “Constable Savage” type but there you go.
