Flying: your essential cabin kit

Toothbrush for long haul.

Off anywhere nice?
17 hour flight to SE Asia.

Flew Saudia for the first time. Not bad. No booze on board, but a prayer room available. All understandable given there was a stop over at Jeddah.

Veggie food was abit iffy... a couple beef sausages made it to the veggie breakfast.

Jeddah airport is a new build and quite impressive.

Mainly read my kindle and listened to some music. Didn't make any use of the in-flight entertainment which was pretty crap. Woolly hat came in useful for the return flight.

Headphones with Air Fly adaptor (even in first class the cans are often not as good as cancelling noise as my one).
Book that won't be read.
Boiled sweets if the Baby Bahns are along for the ride.

For long haul:

Backpack
Passport
Wallet
Phone
Charging cable
Laptop
Phone battery
Noise cancelling headphones
Hoodie
Water
Snackos
Toothbrush/Mini Toothpaste
Wet wipes
Lounge pants
Change of socks
Book (optional)

Shorthaul:
Much of the above but without the change of clothing or toothbrush.

:weed:

Interestingly, on the Saudia flat to Jeddah, a number of the men did appear to have changed into dressing downs for the overnight flight.
