So many particulars. So many questions.
I'm off to see Snoop at the end of the month, and he has always been one of my favorites, even though his recent stuff has been far inferior to his early genius.
I also have a soft spot for Nas, Dre and Public Enemy.
For something a little less 'gangsta' I like De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest.
Also, not strictly Rap, but Nate Dogg did a very good album 'Ghetto Preacher which was largely actual singing to a hip-hop beat.
